J. C. Riley had this home built in the 1930s from wood that was removed from an old railroad station across the street. Mr. Riley lived there until 1992. The fully furnished cottage can sleep up to six people and offers two bedrooms with king size beds, two "sleeper" sofas, two full baths (one tub/shower and one jacuzzi tub), a full kitchen (with refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range/oven), washer and dryer, dining table with chairs, as well as a large, tree-covered fenced yard with a picnic table.

Presenting: York Creekcottage (located behind Riley's Inn)
The York Creek Cottage (previously Wahlhiefer Haus) is a fully furnished cottage available to rent by the day.
It is located behind Riley's Tavern, The Oldest Bar in Texas and now a Texas State Landmark.
This cottage will sleep 8-10 people.
There are 3 bedrooms with queen sized beds, 2 small rooms with single beds (perfect for kids or singles), and a couch that folds out to full sized bed. There are 2 bathrooms; 1 with a tub and the other with a shower.
There is NOT cable TV or WiFi yet (maybe added in the future. There is WiFi at Riley's). There is a DVD player and several movies there to use.
Fully furnished with dishes, linens & towels.
